markdown.page is a markdown publishing service operated by [Magic Monad, LLC](https://magicmonad.com).

By using this service — whether through a browser, the API, or MCP, and whether directly or through an automated agent — you agree to these terms. If an agent or script acts on your behalf, you are the one bound by these terms and you are responsible for what it does, including purchases it makes. Mistaken or unintended agent purchases are still valid purchases; the fix is the refund described below.

Publishing is free and requires no account. Published pages are public and permanent; there is no edit or delete function, so do not publish secrets, personal data, or anything you may later need removed. You keep ownership of what you publish and give us a worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, store, display, convert, and distribute it as needed to run, secure, and promote the service. You promise that you have the rights to publish what you publish and that it doesn't violate anyone else's rights or these terms.

You may not use this service to publish content that violates any applicable law or regulation, infringes on the intellectual property rights of others, contains malware, phishing, or other malicious content, constitutes spam, fraud, or deception, harasses, threatens, or doxxes others, or contains illegal pornography or any content that exploits minors. You also may not attack or abuse the service itself, including evading rate limits or using it as a channel for malicious traffic. We reserve the right to remove any content, refuse any purchase, and block any client, IP range, or wallet at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

We comply with the DMCA. Copyright takedown notices and counter-notices can be sent through the report link on any published page or via Magic Monad, and we forward them to our designated copyright agent. We remove infringing content in response to valid notices and block repeat infringers.

We sell featured placements: paid promotion of an already-published page on our featured listing for a fixed term, at the prices shown on our pricing page at the time of purchase. For agent purchases, the authoritative price and payment details are the ones in the payment challenge our API returns. Placements are paid promotions, not endorsements, and we guarantee no traffic, ranking, indexing, or any other outcome — you are buying placement for a term, nothing more. Every purchase is reviewed before going live, and we may approve or reject it at our discretion. If we reject it, you get your money back. Featured slugs are licensed for the term, not sold, and we may refuse or reassign misleading or infringing ones.

If you want a refund, ask and you will get one. A refund ends the placement and is the only remedy we offer for anything related to a purchase or the service. Prices don't include taxes, which are your responsibility. Card refunds go to the original payment method; on-chain refunds go in the same asset and network to the address that paid, so do not pay from an address you cannot receive at. On-chain payments are otherwise irreversible, and we are not responsible for funds sent to the wrong address, network, asset, or amount, or outside an active payment challenge. Since refunds are free for the asking, don't file a chargeback — if you do, we may cancel your placements and block future purchases.
You may not use or buy from this service if you are in a country under comprehensive US sanctions or on a US restricted-party list, and we may decline or unwind transactions to stay compliant with sanctions law.

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee availability, uptime, data retention, or fitness for any particular purpose, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice, including for reasons beyond our control like network, blockchain, or payment outages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Magic Monad LLC accepts no liability of any kind — direct or indirect, including lost profits or data — arising from the service or these terms; where the law does not allow that, our liability is limited to what you paid us for the purchase in question.

If your content or your use of the service gets us sued or fined — for example, you publish something infringing or unlawful, or your agent breaks these terms — you agree to cover our resulting costs, including reasonable legal fees.

These terms are governed by Delaware law. Any dispute that we can't resolve informally will be settled by binding individual arbitration in Delaware rather than in court, except that either side may use small-claims court or go to court to stop intellectual-property infringement or abuse of the service. Disputes are individual only: no class actions, no consolidated or representative claims. You can opt out of arbitration by telling us in writing within 30 days of first using the service. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.

This service does not require accounts, passwords, or personal information to use. We do not sell your data and we do not serve ads. We may collect IP addresses, user agents, payment records, wallet addresses, and similar request metadata in order to operate the service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. The service runs on Cloudflare infrastructure and their privacy policy applies to data processed by their network. We use cookie-free, privacy-friendly analytics that does not track individuals.
These terms, together with the pricing and privacy information they reference, are the whole agreement between you and Magic Monad LLC. We may update them at any time by posting a new version here, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes; the version shown at the time of a purchase is the one that applies to it.
